Product Description
The Premium 5-Panel Urine Dip Drug Test Kit screens for the five most commonly abused drug classes in a single convenient dip card. The collection cup comes as an added advantage for hassle-free handling with more accurate results. The built-in temperature strip is designed to detect the integrity of the specimen. The temperature of the urine should be between 32-38 °C (90-100 °F) for appropriate drug test analysis. If the temperature is out of range, then it is possible the urine is adulterated by substances such as water indicating the drug test has been falsified.
The dip test utilizes lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay method for the qualitative detection of a selected drug and its metabolites in urine. The Panel/Dip Device is FDA 510(K) cleared to market, CLIA Waived, and adheres to SAMHSA approved guidelines. The 5-Panel drug test for employee screening can be used in various situations such as pre-employment, random, reasonable cause, educational institutions, forensic investigations, corrections, clinical, hospital, rehab centers, personal use, and any on-site drug screening.

How to use the Drug Test Kit
- After collecting the urine sample in the collection cup (minimum level of urine volume as indicated on the collection cup), read the temperature strip.
- Green color indicates the urine sample to be in right temperature for testing; normal temperature being between 32-38 °C (90-100 °F).
- No color change indicates either the urine sample is below or above normal temperature, or adulterated.
- Once the color changes to green, remove the instant drug test kit from the foil pouch.
- Remove the cap from the end of the test and use it to gently bend the exposed strips back and forth to repair them for urine absorption.
- Dip the exposed strips into the urine sample making sure the urine does not come in contact with the plastic portion of the testing panel.
- The strips should be immersed in the urine for 10 to 15 seconds.
- Recap the urine test and lay down on a clean flat surface.
- Red lines will begin to appear on the result window almost immediately; however, the results should only be interpreted at 5 minutes.
How to Read Drug Test Results
Please make sure to read the results within 5 to 10 minutes. Do not read after 10 minutes since the results will be invalid.
- On the testing panel, a red line will appear next to the Control Line (C). This shows the test is working and has plenty of urine to perform correctly.
- A red line next to the Test Line (T) shows the test is negative for the corresponding drug listed above.
- If there is no red line next to the Test Line (T), then the donor is positive for the corresponding drug/drugs listed above.
- If any of the testing windows has no lines present and does not appear as though the urine has migrated up the sample window, you may try to remove the cap and re-dip the strips again in the urine for 10 to 15 seconds, recap the test and lay down on a flat surface. At this point if the red line appears next to the Control Line (C), then the kit is working.
- If no lines appear even after second attempt, then it is Invalid. You can contact the manufacturer.
This screening device will provide only qualitative result. All positives should be confirmed by an alternative method such as GC/MS (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry), which can only be performed by a drug testing laboratory.
On-Site Urine Drug Testing Kits
Many companies screen their employees for illegal drugs and alcohol as a preventative measure to improve safety within the workplace and create drug-free environment. Urine drug test is the most commonly preferred method due to its convenience, low cost and quick delivery of results.
On-site drug testing kits turn out to be a favorable option because of its efficiency and affordability with accurate results within minutes. Drug testing kits are used in many healthcare facilities to monitor abstinence or to provide prescriptions. Parents and partners are testing their children or family members to help deter drug use and this practice has increased comparatively over the years.
On-site urine drug testing kits have become a commonplace item in many clinical settings, hospitals, drug treatment and rehabilitation centers, procedures/surgeries, and businesses. It can screen the urine sample for a range of drugs in minutes as accurately as the laboratory screening standards. Results can be read in as little as a minute to 5 minutes. The detection period for urine test varies for different drugs, which is mostly measured in days.
The real advantage of testing with an on-site drug test is the speed. Confirmation of a positive result should be made by laboratory evaluation if intended to take action against the donor.
On-site urine drug testing kits use instant immunoassays that are used only for preliminary screening. If the preliminary screening test turns positive, a second screening such as gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) through certified lab can be performed for confirmation.
By following instructions and using sterile urine collection cups, one can perform the test with accurate result.
